Mark Bagley Joins AttackIQ to Help Make the World Safe for Compute

SANTA CLARA, California, July 7, 2020 – AttackIQ, the leading independent vendor of breach and attack simulation solutions, today announced the appointment of Mark Bagley as vice president (VP) of product. In this role, Bagley will define and prioritize AttackIQ’s product and service offerings to meet market demand for more security control validation solutions.

Bagley joins AttackIQ from Verodin (acquired by FireEye) where he served as VP of products, and brings 25 years of information technology (IT) practitioner experience as well as more than 13 years experience in executive product management. Prior to joining Verodin, Bagley served as the director of product management for Cisco Systems’ network security solutions and a director of product management for many of Symantec Corporation’s security and data protection offerings.

“Our dependence on technology for daily life is matched only by the vulnerability it brings — software has turned every part of civilization into a potential target,” said Bagley. “Even after decades of cybersecurity investment and innovation, security controls continue to fail in protecting us against bad actors. Why? Because if they’re not working, you have no idea. AttackIQ’s mission is my passion — to help security teams close the gap to adversaries with a consistent, trusted and safe way to test cybersecurity controls at scale and in production.”

“We’re delighted to welcome Mark to the AttackIQ leadership team,” said Brett Galloway, CEO of AttackIQ. “Mark’s impressive industry background in product management, delivery and customer success is aligned with our mission to make the world safe for compute by closing the loop on security control effectiveness.”

Bagley is an (ISC)2 certified internet systems security professional (CISSP) and will be working out of AttackIQ’s headquarters in Santa Clara, California.
